How it works
Connecting older people with local trusted expert Carers and Helpers in the community.
Four steps to finding a long-lasting care match
We've made it super simple to find and organise great care from fantastic local people.
Enter a few details about the care you need
We’ll need to find out who we’re looking after, where, the tasks you need to be done and your schedule. We’ll then use this information to help you build out a care profile for your loved one, which gets seen by your care team.
Browse a curated list of local professionals and helpers
Once we’ve learned about your needs, we’ll match you to a curated set of local professionals and provide the introductions.
Chat directly with your matches
You can then chat directly with your matches and decide if the fit is right.
Book and pay in one simple place
When you’re happy, you can book your free visit and organise a rolling schedule if it suits you.
Created by people who have been there
After struggling to find quality and consistent care for our grandmothers, we solved the problem ourselves. That’s where Gladys was born. We know that great care and help has four main factors.
Championing Local Carers
The people who visit are locals. This means they have commonality and know all the best spots for things like lunch or where the local GP is.
Create your own care circle
By organising with people directly, you can set out a schedule that works for everyone. This means there are fewer dropouts and more continuity from people who can flex around their own family commitments.
The best price
By cutting out the middleman agencies, we could get the best prices and pay the carers more. This means that unlike most of the care sector, pay is actually attractive.
You decide what happens
If you simplify the process of finding the right people and let families decide what happens, you end up getting exactly what your loved one needs, not compromising to fit around red tape and bureaucracy.

How do I change or cancel a visit?
Plans change, we get that it happens and sometimes it can be last minute. All you need to do is contact your Carer or Helper via the number we provide you when you are onboard. To protect Carers and Helpers we need at least 24 hours’ notice, otherwise, you’ll be charged for the visit.
How do I increase the duration or frequency of a visit?
There’s no problem at all. Please ask us if you need a Carer or Helper to extend their visit. Whilst they might not always be able to accommodate on the day if they have a fully booked schedule, we’ll always be able to help suggest a way forward.
How can you pay for care?
There are three main avenues you can take. These are:
1. Paying privately
2. Checking with NHS continuing healthcare funding
3. Applying for local authority funding
Make sure you also check your eligibility for benefits using a benefits calculator
